Enhancements and Issues Resolved in This Release

This section describes enhancements introduced and issues resolved in this release of the Sentinel LDK Run-time Environment.

Enhancements in Version 10.33

Reference Description
SM-220450 Sentinel LDK Run-time Environment (RTE) now uses a dedicated installation location instead of the Windows Temp folder when extracting and running installer components. This change reduces false-positive malware detections during installation.

Issues Resolved in Version 10.33

Reference Description
SM-224157

When Smart App Control is enabled on Windows, the Sentinel LDK Run-time Environment GUI installer is blocked because the extracted MSI package (HASP_Setup.msi) is unsigned.

SM-219514 Uninstalling an application that includes the Sentinel LDK Run-time Environment Merge Module (MSM) removes the Sentinel LDK Run-time Environment even when other installed applications still reference the Sentinel LDK Run-time Environment.
SM-226998 The Sentinel LDK License Manager crashes with a floating-point exception (SIGFPE) during startup in certain virtual machine environments.
SM-221264 Sentinel LDK fails to connect to a cloud license server or a reverse proxy when the network environment required the Server Name Indication (SNI) TLS extension.
SM-204951

When the multiple_session_per_identity attribute is enabled, multiple machines cannot share a single client identity concurrently, and the operation returns a HASP_IDENTITY_SHARING_VIOLATION (91) error.
